Its not often you get sandstormed at the beach but when you do... its bloody windy. 3.7 -4.7 but it felt nuclear. Fun to feel breaking waves again and the cold water seemed to give them a little more punch. I started out with my light gloves and froze the hell out of my fingers within minutes. 20 minutes later I was at the car having a screaming session as the fingers thawed out (forgot what that felt like). Got some good gloves on and did another hour or so up near the reef with the boys but I was really over on the 4.7. I need to start thinking like a small guy now that I lost some pounds :-)
