Happy Halloween
What a treat. 3.5 on small wave boards. Got to the Rocks just in time to watch 2 guy launch. "Boom" they both
skyed big back loops. time to rig. Speaking of launching, Singe launch his first
forward loop and I saw the whole thing. It was great to have the whole crew show up, Steve, Justin, Tim, Singe, and myself and about 25
Canadians.
Here's the Graph
Man, i was sure it was blowing harder then Avg 30. Jeeze, what are we supposed to do when it's avg 40? I thought the 3.5 gear for 40+? I'm going to have to get a 2.8 and a 62ltr. Did I mention I'm still wooped? I'm wooped :) Thanks for the graph, stupid colchester reef is still broke. I talked to a friend who "sailed" at White's he said it was "too windy". I'm going to guess it must of been perfect 4.0 :p
ReplyDeleteIt's great that Singe got his forward loop, congrats!
ReplyDeleteWith CVSC we finished all work, which needed more man power before noon. And at about this time it was already quite gusty. I had to depower 6.6 as much as I could and it still was way to much for the mess Mascoma turned to (I saved the graph but cannot attach it here): a lot of very short and very strong bursts. Some of them didn't last more than 5 seconds:-) After 2pm it stabilized and became better for the rig size I have. The wind was more coming from south, which is better than SW at Mascoma. I cannot believe how warm it was. I was slow cooking in 3/4. Sliding the hood down once in a while. Still no gloves in this season. Last year I was wearing gloves at this time already.
